if you had a chance to go to a FIFA game, would you? Why or why not? I know many people would turn a blind eye to their corruption just to see a once-in-a-lifetime soccer game. What does that say about us as a society? Empty stadiums sure would send a message that we're all paying attention.

The general strike in Portugal yesterday was massive. Not only was it supported by the majority of people in Portugal, it seems that the majority of workers were actually involved in striking. The Metro in Lisbon was completely shut down, schools, universities, Super Bock in Porto!
