I made this Asuka from Evangelion costume back in 2003. And I just finally shot it on the white backdrop last month 😹 it is NOT in good shape, the pleather parts are starting to go, things held on by tape are peeling up, marker lines bleeding. Glad I got shots before it’s totally trashed! #cosplay

My 3 Belle ballgowns. Left is my newest I made this year. Center is 2012 version, right is 2005. Had to get creative with hoopskirts to display all 3 (I don’t have the 2005 hoopskirt anymore & 2012/2025 share the same hoopskirt) - so it’s not exactly perfect but fun to see them together. #cosplay

Kevin and I got to wear our ceremonial Luke and Leia to an event this week - first time since 2024, I think! Kevin is my cousin, and he has autism. I think of him more as my little bro than cousin. I love that we still get to play dress up together.

Year before last I got to see Stevie Nicks in concert Halloween weekend, so of course I had to make a costume to wear to it.

More Halloween stuff - my friends and I did our Sanderson Sister (Hocus Pocus) costumes for dragoncon 2013. These were so much fun to run around in! Sarah has become a staple for my Halloween season, I wear her to hand out candy pretty often. #cosplay

The only other dog costume I ever made - Indy’s Wonder Woman costume. I had bought her a super dog costume and she loooved it, so I decided to make her a little WW outfit out of scraps from my own. She haaaated it 😹😹 I only made her wear it twice, once when I finished it & once for this photoshoot.

Last year for Halloween I made my parents’ dogs (Skye and Walker!) Jedi costumes. It was hard to do without having them at hand to try them on as I was working on them! I need to do some fit tweaks before they wear them again!

My grandma turned 99 today! She was a talented seamstress & helped me with my first costumes. When she was in better health I’d put on a costume to go visit her for her birthday - she loved getting to see them in person! This was 10 years ago, she was so excited to get to see my Anne Boleyn costume.

I have to get off my wifi to use Bluesky because apparently I live too close to Mississippi! Anyway here’s my Wonder Woman costume from 2009. I miss this costume!

One of my fav sub genres of my white backdrop photoshoots are the Luna photo bombs. I think she knew my Taylor Swift Lavender Haze set needed more cat hair. #cosplay
