Today is not a big day because it's my first day without fever after what feels like a billion years (read: last wednesday) but because it's an important deadline 😎
Reaching it is a big deal.
I'll share more (very) soon.

As someone involved in #oss and #javascript but never directly on Vue/Vite, that community always looked healthy and interesting - at times inspiring
I'm looking forward to see how Vite+ project & its licensing approach will succeed 🍿

btw not a work thing but I just wanted to give a shoutout to R-Tools Technology for their Data Recovery Software 'cause thanks to it I managed to salvage a 5TB (!) external hard disk that literally none of the other softwares were able to recover 🫡

ok i've tried to give #Codex another stab but I have to say, it super bothers me that it shows the "pre-pending" commands it runs to run the actual things that are relevant

"It's very clear that a lot of the new AI era is about dismantling the web's original design... a new Internet where there's no concept of consent for either users or those who create content and culture — everything is just raw materials, and all of us are fair game."
Imagine a browser where you type in “Taylor Swift” and it doesn’t even admit that her website exists. I write about Atlas, ChatGPT’s new anti-web browser that should come with a warning label. www.anildash.com/2025/10/22/a...

I think I mentioned this strategy already in the past, but it's good to see that there's more and more signalling that making your AI coding agent write notes outside of itself is an important way to make it effective 📝📝📝

did anyone figure out an MPC or something to get your coding agent to "see" what they work on? let's say I'm doing a website and I need to tweak a button animation/UX/UI - atm imho that's the weak link for coding agents.
The day we can easily give them a feed of screenshots 📈📈
