These are some of the photos I took from the planes. Mountains on the way from my brothers to Vancouver and then Vancouver at night on my way home.

Went to the zoo and zoo light up in Vancouver while I was there. I had such a good time and it was all so pretty.

The second half of my Christmas trip was in Vancouver with my aunt and uncle. It was only 3 days but I had a blast.
January 7, 2026 at 6:16 AM
The first half of my Christmas trip was spent meeting my niece who was just about 3 months old at the time and I spent time with my brother and his wife and her family. It was perfect. I miss them all so much already.

Got to the airport and they tell me X-rays not working for carry-on luggage so it’s manual, then I set the metal detector off and got drug swabbed, then Im told were leaving early. All happens the 1 time Im running late for a flight. I made it but like what the fuck.

I rode the death trap of the tram (which I’m pretty sure the people part is like 50 years old and holds 3 people at a time) 4 times there and back over the river. I am proud of myself that I did it but I am sure as shit stoked I don’t have to do it again this trip as Im heading home today.
December 26, 2025 at 5:35 PM
I am currently in the airport waiting to board my flight. I’m rather nervous about making my connection and riding the tram when I arrive and less about the actual flying part.

Well the person who had the emergency brain surgery made it out alive. Thank god. She is home and is recovering. I feel like I can finally breathe.
December 23, 2025 at 5:08 PM
I don’t really have anyone I can’t talk to about this so I’m venting on here. Someone very close to me is having surgery on their brain very soon. 48 hours ago everything was normal. I can’t be there as they are flying to the neurosurgeon at a different hospital. I am between panic and numbness.
December 13, 2025 at 1:37 AM
On the 23rd I meet my niece for the first time, she will be two months and 25 days old. She is the only reason why Im willing to climb 50 feet of stairs in the air to catch a tram to cross the river to get to my brothers house. I am petrified of heights. I will do anything for that kid. 💕
December 7, 2025 at 1:38 AM
Flights are officially booked. I leave for my brothers place on the 23rd and stay with him till the 26th. On the 26th I fly half way home to my aunt and uncle‘s place. Stay with them till the 29th when I catch my flight home. I’m so excited.

This year has sucked health wise more than previous years. I wanna thank @jeremydooley.bsky.social and @katdooley.bsky.social for giving me something to watch and taking my mind off things. This year would have been very different for me without your guys content so thank you. 🧡💜

I’ve been vomiting through my Zofran for like the last 12 hours. Im now unable to sleep due to bruised ribs on my front, something that got pulled in my back, and of course the nausea. I’m trying magnesium oil on my muscles cause I can’t keep any painkillers down.

I did my gastric emptying scan today at 8am. 5 scans in 4 hours. I managed to keep the irradiated eggs down to complete the scans. By noon the eggs should have been in my small intestine, they weren’t as I threw them up at 2pm. Not great. Now we wait for the results.

Lurch was my baking helper today. He made sure the peanut butter passed quality control and was looking cute as a button while he did it.

Im trying to avoid the hospital tonight so Ive double dosed my zofran to try to stop the vomiting and taken my full dose of tramadol to try to bring the pain down. All of this cause I let the doctor push/examine my guts this morning. New rule no touching the guts.
