We can designate a state dinosaur but not figure out how to fund education. Ok. Cool.

Weidner can pay to upgrade a golden eagle enclosure but can’t maintain their renters homes.

I think I care so much about conservatives turning to Catholicism because it was those same people who bullied me growing up saying being catholic meant being a cannibal and sacrilegious for looking to saints and Mary.

US DOT just cancelled $54 million in university research:
—UC Davis: $12m
—NYC City College: $9m
—USC: $9m
—NYU: $6m
—San Jose State: $6m
—U. of NOLA: $6m
—Johns Hopkins: $6m

All had committed the woke sins of studying how to make transportation less polluting and/or less inequitable.

Grants were funding DEI & Green New Scam agenda that has nothing to do with transportation priorities of the American people

I’ll never forget the email from Senator Murkowski justifying her vote for him.

I want to see what the results would have been for Nick Begich if it weren’t for rank choice voting.

Hey Anchorage, head over to the Dimond Center Mall and take a gander at the CANstruction builds. All the cans used in building these are donated to the Food Bank of Alaska

I recently canceled my cat food and litter subscriptions so that I can shop local. Turns out Alaska Mill and Feed does a subscription based delivery system.
Small businesses are collectively panicking.

We're okay, for now, but I'll implore you to shop small whenever you can coming up.

Bezos can ride the wave.

That small etsy store, maybe not.

I'm gonna get hate for this, but I think anyone convinced to have a baby just to get $5,000 isn't financially secure enough to have a child…

Just saying.

So 5k to have a kid? You know what would actually encourage people to have more kids? Free healthcare and higher education, but what do I know, I’m just a woman.

Also- on the same note. This means the federal government paid for someone to fly from DC to Alaska for him to just tell people to google things rather than do his job.
Connor Torossian (deputy assistant USDOT secretary) just told tribal and local governments they can google how to contact the office. As if everyone can efficiently use google.

Gentrification isn't a bike lane or a bougie coffeeshop.

It's demoing a $900k duplex in a fancy neighborhood and replacing it with a $3.2M single family home.

Also, Harvard’s Salata Institute is taking over the recently cut DOT climate change and transportation systems webinar series
Harvard rejected the Trump administration's demands to change its policies to keep billions in federal grants.

Its president said the demands are unnecessary and infringe on free speech rights.

The university notified the administration that it will not comply with the list of demands, putting $9B at risk.

Wait, people are paying millions and putting pollutants right into the ozone (don’t even try to say there are no pollutants because of the engine design, because even water vapor at that height will impact our ozone) just to go on a 10 minute fun space trip?

Katie Miller, I use pronouns in my bios and signatures as a cis gendered woman because my name is unisex. Does that mean I don’t deserve respect?
