Always value Ruth’s accounts. She has a great ability to see the forest for the trees and present it in a helpful way.

Only published a handful of things so far and I really struggle with writing so seeing my name on something still feels like a massive deal. Highly doubt that feeling will wear off anytime soon.

Reading regularly greatly improves my writing, particularly given my dyslexia. I tend to primarily read sci-fi, horror and non-fiction. Outside of engaging with other folks research reading scifi is what benefits my work the most. Strong believer in it being the genre of Sociology.

My brain is mush just now cause I’m ill so this was all I could think of for the engagement prompt. Been intresting reading how others interpreted it. Some saw it about engagement with their work, with participants or with other’s outputs.

-Nothing about us without us
-Transparsncy & humility
-Reflecivity in ALL research
-“Accuracy”= dictated by the participants not the researcher
-Participants owe us nothing
-Inaccessible language is always bad
-Research with never on
