I usually like the dude for being fair and open minded, but there's no Russian or Chinese agitprop he doesn't fall for, and then he hoovers up a Samuel Francis term like Anarcho tyranny meant to convey an America that doesn't have the balls to put blacks in their place and he repurposes it

I really feel there's been a tidal shift since the pandemic. People not only pursue action with deeper meaning (derogatory) they act with shrill reptile-brained rapaciousness. None of this is conducive to a stable and trusting community.

Watching antisocial driver behavior in the school drop-off line makes it really clear that the pandemic destroyed whatever few shreds remained of the social compact, just pathological selfishness on display every day

There will be many demagogues, charlatans, possibly even Caesars who take advantage of this yearning for the recent past and promise of an egalitarian future being assailed in a land without a social compact. It will be difficult to convince people they're just as much the enemy.

I've been beating the drum for a long time that the liberal - left fundamentally misunderstands the cool zone we've entered. It's just a reality they're not capable of reconciling with, and morsels of perceived normalcy and decency recalling the old world torture them into thinking we can go back.
