Russia just bombed the main highway leading into Kharkiv - heavy traffic with families returning home after Christmas - cars are burning with people in them.

And we discuss signing something with them?

This Christmas Eve, remember Ukraine.

Darkness, empty chairs, voices gone forever —
this is not fate.

So many beautiful lives were taken,
not by time,
but by Russia’s war.

In English we know it as “Carol of the Bells,” but the melody arises from a Ukrainian folk tradition of songs welcoming the new year and summoning the forces of nature to meet human labor and bring prosperity.
Do listen.

Another beautiful Shchedryk performance amidst ruins.

It was set in what used to be a DTEK thermal power plant — now destroyed by russia.

The contrast between russia’s destructive nature and the Ukrainian will to create beauty even in the darkest times is palpable.

Please share this video from 2017 you will NEVER see on Fox revealing how "LOCK HER UP!" in 2016 was Trump's biggest lie since "Make America Great Again".

Of these, 23 are servicemen of AFU. The rest are civilians, among whom are many pro-Ukrainian activists.

After each explosion, rescuers are first to enter the chaos. They search for those who can still be saved amid the smoke, and they do so despite fatigue, pain, and danger. Thank you to our rescuers. You preserve life where others try to destroy it ❤️

This became known during the trial of a Russian soldier accused of shooting two Ukrainian prisoners of war in January of this year.
