Day 3, this is an eagle drum design it’s a simple design, I think I’m happy with it. I’m sort of drawn between a complex drum design for a drum that will never get played and and a design for a drum that will get played and get worn down.

I’ve done it 3 times successfully, the key is to not worry about days when you can only put in minimal effort. They may not look great but the good days balance it. It’s also a great way to generate ideas & get you out of a rut, because it’s essentially brainstorming. But it does take commitment.

The Witcher old world retail edition, with 3 expansions, all in the base box. Monster Trail, legendary Hunt & adventure Pack. I made the inserts from cardboard, they’re not pretty but they are functional. Don’t @ me about the minis cramped in, they are all safe.

I’m playing my first solo game with the Lost Ruins of Arnak Adventure Chest. Just the base game, tho I have both expansions. Set up was a breeze, the trays can be just placed right on the table, I think you can just throw away the supply board tho. It’s a good design.

Play testing Intramural: the soccer trick-taking poker game. With the new smaller board and streamlined deal, it works pretty good, the shots on goal come fast and the poker hands are all pretty good. I’m probably going to upload everything to BGG and hopefully get some feedback.

Graham Green passed away. I met him once, when I was a bellhop, he tipped me $10, so he was good in my books. In contrast, Buffy St.Marie, for 2 carts, multiple rooms, her whole entourage, not a dime, they barely said thank you.

I’m working on the betting cards for my game, 3 Ravenz. The colours of the previous versions were confusing new players, so I decided to try a single colour not related to the playing cards colours. I also numbered the 1 to 6 to make bidding easier.

I’ve been developing 3Ravenz, specifically the betting cards, I’m pretty happy with the new set up so I printed them on sticker paper to put on existing cards. I added a betting card so I will stick it on the extra card that came with the game. I feel like I’m getting close, we’ll see.
