The descriptions are thoroughly detailed and disturbing in the best way! I adore how the scenes are laid out to where you can visualize them in your mind. The story telling is fun, and the way Neil goes about things makes me want to throw him, but at the same time give him a warm hug because holy heck do things amp up. This is definitely a book to enjoy reading with a cozy blanket for the fall season.

I don't think that I'll ever stop posting about Liminal. This novella is so fun and weird and just the right amount of unsettling, I'm lucky I got to read it as admin! Have you snagged a copy yet? The book releases on Monday with the full blood moon!

Question 10: What's next for you? A: Next? A nap. If we're talking about my next books, then I'm working on what I have dubbed "the bad ending" book, and am plotting out a trapped in an abandoned space because of supernatural tomfoolery book similar to Liminal, thematically. Hoping to sell those in the next little while.

Question 9: If you were going to write a different genre, what would it be? A: A different genre than what I'm currently writing? I think that I would try my hand at urban fantasy. It isn't TOO different than what I'm writing, so I think that I could really do something fun with weird things in the city.

Question 8: What is your favourite superstition or myth? Answer: Huh, that's a good question. I think any of the weird ones that "give you bad luck" are fun. Like walking under a ladder, or breaking a mirror. They make no sense. Bloody Mary is also a good one, that's the right kind of creepy.

Question 7: Is this scenario within your book (without giving away too much!) something you'd revisit? Answer: Oh yeah, absolutely! I love these kind of scenarios. Nothin too overly scary or gross, just unsettling. I have a vague Idea for something similar I'd like to write in the future. *wink wink*

Question ^: What was the hardest part about writing this book? I think the hardest part was getting the unsettling factor right without being TOO repetitive, and then ramping up the horror in the right way to keep you turning the page, but also rooting for Neil.

Question 5: What inspired your book? My book is inspired by Silent Hill, The Exit 8, and The Backrooms. I really hope that I got the vibes right because I wanted this to be creepy, accessible, and just the right amount of unsettling while being its own thing.

Liminal is releasing October 6, 2025.
Question 4: Tell us about your book! So, Liminal is my first book. It's about a guy stuck in a time loop somewhere between Heaven and Hell. He doesn't know why he's there, and he supposed to relive the same day every day, but to keep an eye out for anomalies because if he doesn't see them something - but he doesn't know what - is going to happen to him and prevent him from passing on.

Question 3: Since you're not chronically online, what are your hobbies? Answer: Reading, obviously. I don't think that you can be a writer if you don't enjoy reading. But I really enjoy movies, especially 80s films. I guess I'm a nostalgia guy. I dabble in other stuff, too, but again, I don't really want to tell everyone everything about myself. I'm going to stay mysterious forever.

Question 2: Why don't you have any active social media? Answer: I just never felt the need to have any social media. I don't really want to put my entire life online, and the appeal never quite reached me. I like Tumblr, I suppose, at least for entertainment, but I don't actively use any. I prefer to be offline. I don't know how else to explain it. I'm a private person. A bit of a hermit, I guess.
