If you ever want to feel the red mist of frustrated rage rising, buy a Canon printer scanner and expect it to work normally. I just spent nearly an hour grappling with one of these shit devices just to scan a simple 5 page A4 document.

Today I’m home again after a week in the US spent watching my oldest son graduate and then we headed to Boston for a few days. The current paranoid state of the US authorities leads them to search the social media of all who apply for a visa so I’ve kept me gob shut on here for a good while.

Wow! Wow wow wow!!! I’m usually very chipper and upbeat with my clients, but couldn’t be arsed today - felt flat. Got to 5pm and my client has just upped my fee without any prompting or comment from me. Are the two things connected? Nice surprise though.

If King Charles is getting medical weed prescribed, then surely the message about its legality must’ve trickled down to even the stupidest copper / bouncer / border guard. Hopefully this means less stigma and fewer confiscations.

Despite my punky grungy crusty preferences, I was glued to BBC2 last night for their ABBA night. Such sweet melodies sang and played so well. I doubt we’ll ever see another group with such songwriting and performing brilliance.

I really am the world’s worst at DIY. I jokingly said that even hanging a picture turns into a nightmare, and today that has come true. It’s a simple task but everything that can go wrong has and the bloody picture still isn’t up.

Stopping off in South Korea overnight en route back to UK. It’s like a 24 hour long glimpse into the tech future which the rest of the world will one day catch up with. The UK feels medieval in comparison to the digital wonderland that is Seoul. As for the cyber-loos, well, my arse is gleaming!
