If anyone wonders why my research productivity is down, it’s bc I’m suddenly parenting two disabled kids and one trans kid while also trying to support a family member with severe mental illness in a capitalist hellscape where all their (already difficult to navigate & access) care is endangered.

I anticipated he wld try to cut Medicaid for trans youth. I’ve been bracing myself & the kiddo for that. We have a plan for that. But if he tries to end her medical care entirely AGAIN as they did in Texas—a state we fled to keep her safe…idk. I’m going to be out here breaking the law, folks 🤷🏻♂️
