I know pointing out hypocrisy doesn’t matter anymore, but if there’s one person I wouldn’t want to be the judge of who goes into locker rooms, it would be the man who openly boasted about walking into dressing rooms of underage girls

Last thought today:
Build a community that is to your standards. Kind, inclusive, educated, welcoming, helpful, and one that will be on the correct side of history.

If the one that you live in and are surrounded by isn’t that, there is one out there that is. Be brave to find it or build it.

And this is what I have found, being a blue dot in wealthier suburbia of a purple city.

-the people around me are college graduates, some have higher degrees, many professionals
-majority are still from the state, potentially grew up in rural Nebraska and moved to the “big city” after schooling

I could not fathom how well educated people can somehow be sucked into the rhetoric and vote a certain way. And have been pondering on this for way too long. Especially after Jan 6, I thought the educated would find their way out. I was so wrong.
