Most of the time she's a hoot, but she's more used to 'fight another rez dog for a stolen hunk of deer carcass' than 'Grandpa and Grandma feed me bits of chicken and I don't have to do anything'.

Not a great week in my life.. lot of failures at things I don't normally fail at.
Grateful that my wife didn't break anything when the houseguest pulled her right out the door and down the steps chasing a squirrel.
Grateful that we can improvise failed mashed potatoes into soup.

But.. Warlock's been the new smexiness since July 2014 so it's all people seem to talk about.
Probably why so many of my homebrew settings have armies of Zariel Tiefling Hexblade Pact of the Blade Warlocks.

If I hesitate it's the years of warnings against handling romance in session talking.. decades of horror stories and stretching to avoid 'magical realms' and the like.

So many games.. it takes an effort of will to avoid them all.
I get it, mutual action is a way to forge a community of people not in close proximity and it's easier to play along and feel kinship with those playing with you.
Still.. those who don't play aren't always opposed to the community.

I like the initial texts from Level Up Games and the like, but I don't want them every month unless it's something big (Dave Arneson birthday sale, GURPSmas, etc.).
