the math problem:
UB is best product for new player
Standard is best format for new player.
want to maintain in universe sets.
core sets can go or be foundations.
Plus standard prob can handle 5 sets a year(see 2024)
And maybe even this new aftermath small set for a 6th!

Id guess it’s the 2nd option. The way sets would be segmented and released would have been different.
Maybe Spider-Man is 4 commander decks.(Peter Parker classic ,Gwen+miles spider verse,venom, sinister six)
Instead.
Maybe instead of 4 sets they do 2 and it’s Spider-Man+xmen.
