These ones are personally the hardest. Henri Herszhorn, was about 8 months younger than my dad Heinz "Henri" Erich Cahn, who avoided Auschwitz and the same fate because my grandparents gave him up to the French resistance to be hidden not once, but twice.

In 1942, he was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection.

It's a little known fact, the US fought the Revolution, Civil War, WW2, and Vietnam, just for Ken Burns documentaries. Invented Baseball too. Don't forget Jazz. Did I leave out any Ken Burns docs, oh yeah we did Prohibition too for that reason.
