No one's blaming Democrats for causing this crisis, but yes, many of them are failing to meet this moment.
One Democratic senator could bring the chamber to a halt. House Dems can go to fed agencies being gutted by Musk with cameras in tow. Governors can push back. State AGs can bring lawsuits.

Oh, by the way, this is all true. Anti-vaxxers love to wipe their hands of the responsibility of their lies. The reality is that anti-vax rhetoric kills. And a lot of the time it's children who pay for it.

Went here today. The Westinghouse Atomsmasher, a particle accelerator built in the 30s and shut down in the 50s. It was part of a larger complex demolished in 2015. It lays on its side now floating in a sea of weeds and debris, all particles presumably moving at normal speed.
