Yeah, I've used it a few times now! But I wish it were like a live embedded web component or something, lol. One big up on having them in a webpage is their always up to date.

You'd think by now they'd have smart enough models to then push related products.

Like, if I've been doing car searches for 3 months and then stop, that's a pretty good signal that you should start sending me ads for car care products or something 🤷

In this case, the parent of both of the anchor and the item was position relative, so it stayed within the containing block.

If that's not the case (which is very possible), if multiple items have the same name, the last one will win, but we can use anchor-scope to, well, add scope and prevent that

Usually you see it with tooltips, menus and other popover type things, but I love it for this type of stuff as well :)

And as many people are pointing out, I'm well aware I could rearange the HTML to do this without anchor positioning in this example.

I love how people miss the point of how cool this stuff is 😅

(also, the image probably should have been after the heading in the HTML, but no one pointed that out!)

haha, you never know! I'm a fan of Tina. Git based, and pretty easy to get started with.

There's so many good options out there these days! Is there any specific features you need?
