@theatretiquette.bsky.social Beginning to think Theatre Etiquette about what show you go and see. A juke box musical or play with huge'name' in. You get people mobile phones, photos. Go and see a straight play - Shakespeare or a new play without a 'name'These issues are not so much a problem

Some absolute idiots have been posting photos they have been taking during the Inside No.9 stage show. It is prohibited to take photos during a theatre performance, its basic etiquette, ffs! Plus, think of those of us who are yet to see it. We want to go in as blind as possible! Selfish.

So a little #TheatreEtiquette news from the KitKat club last night.... person to the right checked their phone during the 1st Act so obviously bright light. It would be off putting for the other audience members and the cast. Just Rude. Told FOH and stopped 🙂 why spend the money to be on the phone?
