I'm obviously thinking way to much about #ai - spend the night prompt engineering my dreams, quite an effective way to lucid dream!

VR can be hugely helpful, distraction and reduction of anxiety. Appreciate that the anxiety may be too high but we have had amazing success in hospitals across the country.

May be worth exploring.

What are the effects of VR use on children's health and functioning? New research examined 60-minute daily VR sessions over 4 days in 10-12 year olds, finding no negative impacts on visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, balance, or cognitive control.

Thanks for the reminder @janemunday.bsky.social. Every summer, I repost this article DROWNING DOES NOT LOOK LIKE DROWNING. To date, I know of FOUR kids who were saved after someone who'd clicked on the link learnt how to spot actual drowning. Take time to read and pass on.

A statement graphic from Long Covid Advocacy features a bold headline reading “LCA STATEMENT ON DISABILITY CONCESSIONS” in bright pink text. The statement criticizes the UK government’s last-minute welfare concessions as a political smokescreen that protects some while condemning others to poverty, calling it systemic cruelty. It links the rise in benefit claims to the government’s failure to prevent mass disablement, highlighting over 2 million people with Long Covid and the lack of airborne mitigations and treatment investment. The statement condemns punishing people with disabling, fluctuating conditions instead of addressing root causes. It ends with a call for MPs to vote against the bill on July 1st and demands a benefits system based on justice, compassion, and dignity. The Long Covid Advocacy logo appears in the bottom right corner.

Lolling: "Blaming the weather for the highest ever crossing numbers so far this year is the border security equivalent of a lazy student claiming 'the dog ate my homework'" said Shadow Secretary Chris Philp, who also failed to stop the boats when he was in the Home Office but has appeared to have forgotten.
Lolling right back atcha: Philp himself blamed the weather for boosting small boat crossings back in 2020. "The situation has been compounded by unusually benign weather conditions in the English channel over the summer," he told the Commons back when the Tories were struggling on the issue.

What an amazing morning being inspired by music and mental health projects. So much good work in a massively growing space #sxsw

#sxsw just seems like queuing for things that you then dont get into! And then dont have enough time to get to the next thing you dont get into.

Money well spent!
