They're services which provide some defense against AI for images posted online. In the simplest terms, they scramble pixels when AI attempts to scan an image for collection. Images generated from images treated with glaze or ns are warped, sometimes beyond recognition.

They're both free now, so either will work. My understanding is that Glaze geared toward evading AI where Nightshade is about poisoning the AI waters, so to speak, as per its name.

Bluesky are resharing this after they revealed yesterday that every photo uploaded here is sent to an external company that is selling GenAI services.

Note that none of them are actually confirming that none of these images are being used by that external company to train their systems.
