proud democrat in the golden age of america. also queer if that scares you
I don't understand how MAGAns can explain everything that Trump has done so far and find a way to spin it every time into something that sounds passable enough to centrists to be supported. It's like these people are geniuses solely in misleading our general society. 1302 days left guys

n a time when it all seems so overwhelming and bleak, what if you just did:

-what you could
-with what you had
-where you were

Imagine the power in that 💪🏾🔥💪🏾🔥
Let's go!

Genuinely brought a smile to my face, so glad he has the honor of surpassing Thurmond's record.
Booker: Strom Thurmond’s record always kind of just really irked me. That the longest speech on our great Senate floor was from someone who was trying to stop people like me from being in the Senate. So to surpass that became more important to me.

When Elon Musk set about “feeding U.S.A.I.D. into the wood chipper,” as he put it, it wasn’t only supporters of President Trump’s “America First” agenda who were cheering the dismantlement of the foreign aid agency.
The Kremlin was, too. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/05/w...
As Elon Musk Dismantles USAID, Foreign Leaders Rejoice
Leaders in Russia, Hungary and El Salvador welcomed the Trump administration’s assault on U.S.A.I.D., which many authoritarians have seen as a threat.

This kind of people, if living in the 40s, would say "America should lose WW2 because of racism." Their only interest is virtual signaling.

amazing how even after all this news we're still not seeing nicknames like 'genocide trump' which is how you know not to take anyone who said 'genocide joe' or 'killer kamala' seriously

but apparently kamala would've been just as bad for palestine. this is egregious behavior man

i miss when i heard "DEI hire" more than anything else to do with DEI. this new era of calling anything and everyone that's nonwhite or queer "DEI" is gonna be rough. this is more than just going after DEI, this is going after the existence and acknowledgement of these individuals' struggles
To comply with Trump exec order banning DEI, Defense Intelligence Agency ordered a pause of all activities and events related to:
MLK Day
Black History Month
Juneteenth
LGBTQ Pride Month
Holocaust Remembrance Day www.nbcnews.com/politics/don...
Federal agencies bar Black History Month and other 'special observances'
A number of federal agencies have banned celebrations related to MLK Jr. Day, Women's History Month and other such observances to comply with Trump's executive orders.

A new era of government censorship has begun.
It started with the silencing of scientific speech, when the admin blocked release of research on bird flu. But MAGA has also cracked down on other wrongthink—on race, geography (!), and of course Trump himself

"America will stay free because of our tradition..."
Sorry to break this to you, but that tradition is exactly why Americans take freedom for granted. Your parents and grandparents never told you what a dictator can do, so you have a knowledge deficiency.
You need more homework than other people.

Serious question for Republicans: has Donald Trump ever taken responsibility for anything bad that's ever happened while he was in charge? Has he ever shouldered the blame for anything that's gone wrong?
