KeysMeys, who looks like an Amish Cheese Vendor
@keysmeys.bsky.social
D&D player, history geek, writer. I like drawing lineart and I'm learning to make textiles.
I think I'll add this to my "to-complete" pile because I really like drawing the characters

Now back to that second story, which I'm showing you entirely because it makes me laugh. Cecily HATES Bylar.

The tall kid has a crush on the Potion Master's apprentice (a thicc goth girl). The tall kid is the Transmutation apprentice.

I find it weird that I keep revisiting this random kid, when this is supposed to be Annette's story.

This is my daughter's favorite page btw. These are "the bullies" that she is so invested in.

Apparently the little one is called Harry, which is weird. He doesn't look like a Harry. The tall one should have a stereotypical 90s jerk-jock name, but I can't think of one.

I completely forgot that this kid's name is Tammaro. I should really write these things down somewhere other than the comic pages.

I made comic stories about a little girl named Annette Montgren, who grows up in a magic tower despite being completely immune to magic. I drew several scenes in a hyperfocused daze. My 6yo daughter loves it for some reason and asks me about "the magic girl and the bullies" still

I had forgotten the character's name by the time I was revisiting Barbara's introduction, and ended up changing him from John Crowley to Bylar Bore.

This is from a different story entirely. Here's some versions of the same scene, rewritten and redrawn so many times.

There is actually a third chapter, but I stopped partway through because I need a subplot for the little brother and I couldn't think of one

I'm just going to show you the entirety of Chapter 2, which makes just as much sense in-context as out-of-context.

I guess this was an acceptable answer? Her next question was when she asked the technique in making the pinkish smoke.

I brought up my deafness to explain why I used a audio visualizer for the assignment. And to explain why, unlike everyone else, my painting was representative rather than abstract.

I sent this out-of-context to my friends group and immediately got two DMs checking on my mental health.

I'm fine. Drained, in need of dopamine, but fine. This is a comic about mobile game ads.

The punchline seemed redundant.
