Just old, retired teacher bitching. For the first time since I retired in 2021, I didn't work this year(2024) at all. I had to PAY $190 to the effing federal government. I had to pay taxes on money I've already paid taxes on. Big news, I got $8 in my state refund.

So this is the first time ever I've had to Pay the IRS. This is the first year that I've relied solely on my teacher retirement and my Social Security, and I freaking OWE $170. I got back $8 from the state of Alabama. There is something wrong here.

The thing I'm screaming about tonight is how many Republicans were hosted at the Felon-in-Chief's golf club? Who pays for that? Who pays for the security? Because you know, nobody stays and golfs for free.
