I've said it before, but this country is now divided into those who think the government is there to help people and those who think the government is there to hurt people. We need more of the former to speak up.

Every single insurance company spends $5 billion per week to familiarize us with quirky spokespeople and their anthropomorphic animals. We spend 1/5th of our lives watching them caper about. They're able to do this because of the profit margins on the important product they produce (denied claims).
