Everyone in this country is descended from immigrants.

Every single last one of us.

And many, like Mr Farage, will have very recent migrant ancestors indeed and not even know about it.

Vote now - Poll 71% say full EU membership worth ‘trade offs’ (Euro & Schengen)

Readers had strong views. Many dismissed the idea of returning on old terms as unrealistic or “delusional”. Broad agreement that the UK had thrown away a uniquely favourable deal – one that won’t be offered again
‘Schengen, the euro, the whole thing’: Readers say UK must commit to rejoining EU
Our community agrees that Brexit’s challenges mean the UK must embrace Schengen, the euro, and full EU membership – no half-measures – to truly move forward

Private healthcare investors donated 1.4 million pounds to MPs over the last two years. What are they expecting in return? We don't think this is right.  That’s why we’re sending politicians a clear message – the NHS is not up for sale. youtu.be/NS02AglpWic

UK govt considers rescue package for another steel plant - Speciality Steel UK, part of the Liberty Steel Group.

Profits are privatised and losses are socialised.

Instead of free money govt must get something in return - shares, give a repayable loan.

British people were 'sold a lie' with Brexit, Emmanuel Macron said today in response to a question from Robert Peston at a joint press conference with Keir Starmer

He said Brexit has made it harder to combat illegal migration across the Channel - HE’S RIGHT 👇

Are oil companies actually viable businesses if they need taxpayer subsidies and can’t pay their own taxes?

Or are they viable businesses BECAUSE of all the subsidies and tax breaks?

It’s the second one isn’t it.

Fossil fuels are scam, taking our taxes.

Cos the best way to defeat Farage is to agree with him about absolutely everything

Tories proved this by running a 10 year experiment that left them polling at "functionally dead", while Reform are favourites to win the next election

England could face water shortages within a decade.

Since 1989 population, homes increased - 25 reservoirs sold off, no new ones, no desalination plants, 1 trillion liters of water a year lost to leaks.

Companies borrowed to pay dividends. No forward planning.

Disaster made by privatisation.
Government fast-tracks new reservoirs to secure water supply
Changes to planning laws could speed up projects, but experts warn water consumption will also need limiting.
