It's always "Pho King." Lived across the street from one

Between banh mi and pho, the first place I'd ever trust to cure a hang over is a Vietnamese restaurant named with the most vulgar pun imaginable

Our financial system is like a shady guy doing a three-card monte scam where if they move the cards around enough we just get dazzled by the cards moving around and don't see the debt and liabilities getting stuffed up the sleeve

Nothing wrong with being aromantic. The people that convince you it's worth hating yourself over don't necessarily have romance figured out either

Having a functioning long-term memory makes seeing fox news vacillate on stances can be amusing, until you realize that a lot of people either don't care about obvious hypocrisy, have the memory of a goldfish, or are actively experiencing dementia and rapidly becoming your least favorite grandparent

The modern day struggle towards serenity has so many more hurdles than zen monks had to deal with before the internet. Telling a monk that we let go of social media or email is the only way we can flip the "going uphill both ways" rhetoric to guilt trip our enlightened forebears

Some idiosyncrasies have such an uphill battle. If you're aromantic, you just gotta absorb lectures about romance from the same people that are actively fantasizing about cheating on their partner or actively looking for contracted hit men

Every individual contribution I make to the internet is adding noise to the already deafening roar of entropy that is the internet. Our treat is the heat death of the universe

Orchids are notoriously high maintenance, the stress of getting ice for their white wine spritzer fast enough to avoid their snide remarks would fluster anyone

I hear this is a common trend: already unproductive employees find benefits from AI that are immediately offset by forcing the already productive employees to sift through, verify or review the slop

I imagine there was a time where checking your email and finding a message in your inbox excited you as much as Steve Burns getting a letter

The project to dissolve the importance of truth was at least a decade in the making, if not more. Trump wheeled out the term "Fake News" to deflect reporting critical of him, and ultimately erode any faith in objectivity if it isn't partisan

As much as I wish people were curious enough about the world around them to actually strive to understand the world around them or advocate for something they understand, somehow the worst part about reactionary hypocrites is how smug they manage to be while contradicting themselves

People don't seem to take coding seriously anymore. They don't remember getting the Stack Lung by plunging the mines of stack overflow when they get stuck or need to debug problems, and having to work around an 8 y/o solution for an outdated version. People are soft, they need the hunt

Stephen Miller is like the primary imp I'm referring to, trying to keep track of every imp is exhausting

The low bar for presidents is "complicit war criminal", and somehow Trump has dissolved institutional trust in executive office more than Nixon

I learned that they were screening the extended edition in theaters too late to make plans to watch it with friends. I will forever have fomo of the chair rumbling features to make me feel immersed like I'm really on Treebeard's shoulder

He might be too self-involved to make cunning and evil plans to harm other people. He sure has invited a lot of people into his orbit who are willing to stroke his ego in exchange for advancing blatantly evil policy, though. Never trust narcissists

If I sing something poorly, I tell people that UMGP kidnapped and subjected me to an unsophisticated form of chemically induced brainwashing to ensure I don't violate copyrights by singing on key. DRM has gone too far.

I remember booting it up after a 6 year hiatus, and it was just as fun as I remembered it, as long as I don't think about catching up to half a decade of content
January 27, 2026 at 6:59 AM
Forgetting a thought and caring enough about it to file a missing idea report, getting distraught when it doesn't come back and eventually having a symbolic funeral for it

I elect you as my reverse genie
