i've seen people say that there are better video players than vlc out there but vlc is the one i know cuts out the playback ui on the stream while windowed so i don't have to fullscreen

i'm sorry for being a jaded little shit but it's hard to find motivation to watch a show which the main drawing point for a lot of people is queer/lesbian representation when the company behind it has this long of a section in their wikipedia page about their workplace enviroment

been playing wind waker (hd) past week or so and while i've enjoyed it quite a bit you hit a point in the game where a phone or a 2nd monitor is required out of how much time you're spending on the sea sailing without much to do until you get to your destination

i just don't think most people wanna tinker around and troubleshoot their computer, they just wanna use it. even if all popular distros are pretty intuitive i think most people are gonna feel something slightly off/wrong and go (back) to 11 out of comfort

bsky was obviously gonna become the twitter replacement.
from jack dorsey being involved, more financial backing, the initial invite-only system making people curious on what was behind the curtain, hell even just it having the same color scheme as classic twitter.
