Do you have some kind of drink that would make them smarter?

Not every sector produces 'revenues'. Stimulus to industries is also considered a part of GDP... ie: consumer spending:
'A country's GDP is comprised of consumer spending, business investment, government spending, and net exports.'

Sounds like they may have had experience as National Guard in the past, and were just 'deputized' a day before so that they could act as such in the capital. Their assignment there expired Nov 30th otherwise.

AI on GDP:
A country's GDP is comprised of consumer spending, business investment, government spending, and net exports. These components are added together using the expenditure method to calculate the total value of all final goods and services produced within a country during a specific period.

Maybe so.... but are those gas revenues that are 'far bigger' being shared with taxpayers who contribute to the national coffers in Ottawa? I don't think so. Every time I hear Smith or someone from PP's clan screaming about 'caps' or 'carbon taxes', I know they're pissed about paying their share.

What you're describing is lazy Americans who need someone to blame other than themselves. If Trump's cuts to services, or his strong-arm police tactics, or his limits of freedoms and rights you once had.... doesn't convince lazy voters they screwed up.... Then maybe those voters NEED to stay home.

Wow - If that's what happened, it sure sounds like it was a mistake to try to upgrade all those buildings at once. This photo seems to show a green netting over one or two towers.... their entire height. If the material was so flammable, that should have been known before using it so extensively.

I sure hope Max Fawcett has read this right... & has given a lot of Canadians some relief from the anxiety of today's announcement. He's basically condensed Carney's conditions into actions needed by Danielle Smith and HER party, not anyone else's. Trudeau did her heavy work. Carney handed it back.

"What stops a First Nation from hiring expertise to get them there?"
Money. From the Canadian taxpayer general population - the usual source of funding.
And because they do NOT have their own capability, they have to hand CONTROL to those who they "hire". A real conundrum for retaining sovereignty.

They're 'feral' until they get to know what love is. Then they're usually a very big surprise and make the most loving family members. Never let a stray go hungry.... it's your chance to prove you're a very good human being. 😍

I can't think of a greater gift to the family - or just for yourself - than bringing a pet home from a shelter. Mine have always been strays who got adopted, or shelter pets who needed a home. They make the very best friends.

It should not be considered 'unthinkable'. Russia has had many warnings, interventions and threats of what can happen if they do not withdraw from Ukraine. They seem to be in 'We dare you" mode. Time to call their dare.
November 27, 2025 at 11:57 PM
Thank you for that, Cher. I often think of those who are reminded of people - or pets - they've lost when special days or seasons come around. The way to honour them is to remember that you had the privilege of knowing them for the time they were here. And you'll do the same for others you know.
November 27, 2025 at 11:54 PM
Wow. I guess people have had enough of the social media platforms making money..... but shirking accountability. Now it looks like they'll have to respond to complaints of scammers and abuse of their platforms.

Total trust and affection. What more can you ask from a little cat?
November 27, 2025 at 11:46 PM
Wolfie looks like he gets the best parts of the turkey. . .
November 27, 2025 at 11:44 PM
Just when you think the man cannot exhibit any greater insanity or invent another flipped-out plan.... he chooses to prove everyone wrong. This guy is mean and ugly - through and through.
November 27, 2025 at 11:43 PM
I know what you mean by "wireless doorbell chihuahua". I phoned a friend once and while talking with her, there was a sudden explosion of small dogs barking. Someone had come to the door. So much for needing security cameras . . . .

Beautiful markings. And those eyes!.... they talk louder than words. Your daughter is very lucky to have such a friend.
November 27, 2025 at 11:28 PM
Oh hell.... he was impeached TWICE during his first term. Did that stop Americans from returning him to a SECOND term?
Trump is not a smart man... just mean and threatening.
But what excuse do Americans have for giving this kind of man their office of Presidency a second time?
November 27, 2025 at 11:26 PM
I think most Americans are not dumb.
I think more Americans voted for Trump than did not.
I think the American voters need some major re-training.
November 27, 2025 at 11:22 PM
They were not regular National Guard members. Looks like Trump temporarily appoints civilians to act as National Guards when he needs to make his intimidations on various cities. These two had been 'appointed' 24 hours prior to being shot.
November 27, 2025 at 11:16 PM
They're going to drop the Trump turkey from a helicopter ?!
Are they going to have a net in place.... or just let him bounce?
November 27, 2025 at 11:08 PM
Now explain to us, up here in Canada, why Americans voted him into office of the President for a SECOND TIME.
Did they not know his thinking, his temperament and his total disregard for laws and limitations the first time around?
November 27, 2025 at 11:05 PM
Consult means talk with.... nothing more. Too many people are under belief that indigenous must APPROVE a project or a piece of legislation. That's not accurate; read UNDRIP carefully. There is no onus for needing their approvals. If indigenous were "capable", they wouldn't need outside expertise.
