As someone who grew up in the conservative evangelical weirdo milieu, there were definitely things in their ads that gave them away as wolves in sheep's clothing. Unless I missed something in the montage, they're getting better at hiding it.

Murderbot Diaries and The Locked Tomb are both excellent sci-fi reads. Murderbot is about a mistreated android finding a family and dealing with anxiety. The Locked Tomb is about queer characters being disasters.

But to steal a line from Mark Bankston, the best way to have some ability to predict what this nutter will do is find the most logical thing for him to do and exclude that from the list of possibilities. He was referring to the Alex Jones' behavior in the Sandy Hook lawsuits, but it works for Trump

I think that this is why the tariff check rumors are so persistent on the right. The right leaning people I know remember Trump's signature on the COVID checks and they want him to do it again. They want him to do a socialism! It would help his numbers.
