this is so awesome

i think i feel particularly insane bc I'm still trying to sort of parse why I absolutely adored Speed Racer (2008) but felt a lot more warm on this because it feels like I should have liked Both but instead I just have annoying things to say about it

i could also just be an insane woman

i wanted to like it so bad but i felt like i was missing something... really cool-looking movie but not a lot of the arcs really landed for me even though i could see what was happening or what was trying to be done

i enjoyed the old women and 'mcfeasting' though
