Today is Transgender Day of Visibility.
I have made my allyship of the trans communities visible since Stonewall became trans inclusive in 2016.
Today it is more important than ever.
I want my transgender friends to know today, and every day, that I stand beside them.

Today I made the sad journey to The Downs Crematorium to join my sisters and cousins to bid farewell to my aunt June Kee.
The word ‘aunt’ doesn’t begin to do justice to how important she was to us.
After my mother died when I was 20, she was ‘in loco parentis’.
Kindness personified.

First time I’ve had to scrape the ice off my car before going on my morning dogwalk. There’s something magical about the change in weather as long you are fortunate enough to be wrapped up warm.

I am so pleased I was able to get my hands on one of these Royal British Legion Pride Poppy badges before they sold out. It uses the intersex inclusive flag designed by the brilliant Valentino Vecchietti, founder of Intersex Equality Rights.
