Fire Elon Musk.

He crashes and breaks everything he buys. Now he thinks he can buy our government and strip it for parts.

Even something as simple but essential as air traffic controllers are at risk.

We can't let that happen. We need to fire Elon Musk.

Captain Pollution reminds me of a certain unethical billionaire, swimming in his riches and looking to steal the working poor’s healthcare and social security. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼🚫🚫🚫 gross.

This is abhorrent. The “pro-life” party stealing payments from service providers. Never trust a billionaire with populace rhetoric.
My staff is hearing reports from Head Start programs in Oregon that they're still locked out of federal funds. My office is doing everything it can to get more info and get funds flowing before providers have to start closing their doors.

Is Elon Musk a cult leader? Seems very sus how so many working-class men rally for and defend him. Is the appeal the empty promise that one day, they could be megalomaniac billionaires too?

ICE is terrorizing Natives in AZ and NM. National Guard was useless in Altadena, sitting on their hands, or at best, acting as traffic guards with tanks. 👎🏼Both ICE and National Guard need to pick up shovels, clear out debris, start the rebuild, and learn how to fight fire. VOLUNTEERS are doing that!

Today in the Mayan calendario it’s 2 Tijax, a day to cut cords and release old wounds. Lean into trust and healing, and consider: “what is the salve for me to remedy my old wounds? How can I trust that everything I experienced led me to this moment for my highest good? How do I learn from my pain?”

Great article! “[…] most people who notice that I don’t drink or do drugs assume I have some substance abuse history. Well, it’s true, I do; just not mine. I also don’t mind if people assume I’m in recovery. It’s not correct, but it’s not an insult […] People in recovery? You rock, I salute you.”
I think people find me strange for many reasons but not for this particular one. That said, I have written before on why I don’t drink alcohol or use recreational drugs:

We need to talk about the ultra-moral left!! @adriennemareebrown.bsky.social talks about perfectionist politics on her podcast. Just because we‘re queer or gay adjacent, it’s lost on most that the left (not Dems) are extremely morally upright. We love the ppl and want all to have what they need.

It’s so perfect that this was posted on Jun Noj, which is the woodpecker energy in the tzolk'in calendar—the Mayan calendar. Woodpeckers remove all impurities, self-doubt, regret, fear and shame. May we all get the help we need to have the gunk picked off and out of us. ✨🙏🏼🙌🏼

This!!! Do not give into the fear. We deserve safety and peace. Also, the media needs to provide some political education and stop amplifying the fear. The exec order ATTEMPTING to UNCONSTITUTIONALLY end birthright citizenship. It’s not yet in effect and was blocked by federal judges.
These executive orders on banning federally funded entities from recognizing trans people or disallowing them from using the bathroom are not self-executing or immediately enforceable. They require formal rule making at a minimum. They are a scare tactic. Ignore and do not comply in advance.

Let’s be gentle with each other and critical of the systems with operate within.
Workers are each other’s allies, not each other’s competition.

I saw @adriennemareebrown.bsky.social speak yesterday at a @workingfamilies.org event. So inspiring!!!! Can’t wait to rewatch recording. So much to metabolize and process at this moment but the speakers really energized me and helped me feel committed to the deepening of my own political education

Left LA for the first time since the wildfires started. Ironic and poetic that I should join Bluesky the same day. 💔🥹 listened to Francesca Harding’s Love Letter to LA playlist on my drive out.
