I hate to admit it, but we need to be better about giving people a chance to change. We don't have to trust her and should be wary of EVERYTHING she says, but if her actions match her words - which they kinda do right now - then take her at face value. Who cares what motivates her? She's here now.

They don't like him, but they refuse to vote for anything other than the GOP.

Not his Democratic party. The fighters got elected last night. His party wouldn't even endorse Mamdani.

Dumping Hogg was a HUGE mistake. He appeals to young voters (hell, he appeals to me, an old af voter). He puts policies out there that people WANT.

I can't imagine what other families are going through - and these are the choices they will have to make, and things like band and orchestra will suffer. (I pay for it because her mom is on WIC and SNAP and is already struggling).

It's the difference in perception. People expect Republicans to serve their wealthy masters. Democrats aren't "supposed" (regardless whether reality is different or not). Perceptions are that Dems uphold the law, so it's shocking if they don't, but not vice versa.
