Wants clean air and covid vaccines that work, to protect our kids and their futures.
In the past, this would be outrageous. The company's share price would tank as the cost to recall cars and pay out those poor people's families would mount. Their reputation would take years to restore. Instead their P/E ratio is over 320! It's madness.

I would love to be able to mass mute serial meme posters with the flick of a switch. I don't understand the appeal at all.

I loved that book, so insightful and has really helped me with my career but also as a parent.

Hang around a kids dance, gymnastics or football/soccer academy and you'll see plenty.

I understand the fear of chatgpt slop of course, but would be so grateful to put the words "other half" and "organised" in the same sentence that maybe it'd be worth it?

I didn't know who Jake Paul was, and, finding boxing a very unpleasant and senseless activity, I didn't understand the enthusiasm for yesterday's footage... but watching Tate I was practically screaming "rip his head off", so yeah, I guess I get it now.

Great share. As a thought exercise, what would happen if that whole industry just went away? Maybe through government intervention? If it produces no value, why is it allowed to flourish?

Great article. It really just makes the case for Denmark to do more, rather than for anyone else to do less, especially the US.

It's inexplicable to me why anyone would choose to cause any suffering, particularly in children, if they could prevent it.

Am left thinking far worse of the Danes tbh.

It is such a small number, yet seemingly insurmountable, and their cowardice is absolutely sickening.

Oh I'm pretty terrified of spiders! I just know how few I've seen as a city dweller in Australia, and want to reassure you that you're unlikely to see one.

I think I would die on the spot I saw a wolf spider anywhere near me 🤣

I have huntsmen in my garden in inner suburban Brisbane. I leave them alone to keep the fly population down, and they leave me alone. We only have words if they venture inside.

The average tourist does not need to worry about them.

Yes we have one, my OH uses it once a month because we don't do much of the type of driving that's supposed to help prolong the battery.

Wow you did really well to make it so far! I hope you get better soon and escape any long term effects 🤞

My first thought was "my kids will love it", my second was, "I will love it 😬" Do you remember Babe the pig? It shouldn't have worked, but it did!

It's not the first time I wish I was a scientist who could look into this, but trust many smarter minds are looking at it 🤞🙏

Agree, I'm sure it's very difficult to prove and anecdotal evidence won't sway those who don't want to change. I hope some of teachers noted that one class had 50% out, while the other had at most 10% - despite kids going to the same activity providers, lunchtimes, parties and even homes!

Just thinking of the difference the air purifier in my son's class made compared to others in his year level, they really should be in as many spaces as possible to prevent the spread of all airborne viruses.

I don't know if you're part of/ seen the safer air project, but submissions are currently open for an inquiry into clean air. Terms of reference: health, productivity, WHS, IAQ, resilience, pandemic preparedness and equity of access to public spaces.

Me too. I am not giving up just yet, but find far more discussion on reddit of all places, so it's become more of a go to.

I used to annoy other designers for not using a ton of shortcuts when I worked. The reason was because I used the miniscule time it took to move the mouse to THINK about what I was doing. I was just as fast in the end, and didn't make as many mistakes. It just didn't look at "impressive".
