They received huge R&D money and should have been forced to keep prices low but they weren’t and didn’t. The concern is if there’s no US market we will all suffer. There will be no competition. Hopefully like-minded countries will form a vaccine coalition to fund research.

I believe only wealthier countries received Moderna and Pfizer covid mrna. China, Russia, etc supplied other countries. The US is their primary customer. He said at Davos they would stop producing if they lost the US market
