By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).

If I needed something, To know where we stood, or To know I was on your mind, You'd trim a fingernail. If you could. And if you couldn't, well. "A good partner would respect that." But here's something nobody tells you: You get good at getting smaller. You barely notice the pieces missing after. A vertebra here, a chunk from the fibula there. Some time in the dehydrator. It hurts like hell, but. The alternative is not having a space with you at all. So I got really good at it. I live in a little hole in your kitchen wall now. I sleep on a marshmallow And I swordfight cockroaches with a sewing needle And I eat my breakfast of crumbs on a bottle cap. And at night, When I tiptoe into the kitchen To nibble on your gigantic wheel of Swiss cheese, I can hear you in the other room And it sounds like you're having a great time.
