this week during prime day sales take a moment and think about what you need, how quickly you need it, and where you might be able to get it in your community! It’s surprisingly easy to boycott the crummiest company on earth and there’s no shortage of great reasons to try start trying

I WEPT WHEN I PICKED UP MY ORDER I THOUGHT IT WAS REMOVABLE
A hand holds a paperback copy of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. The cover is black with bold, jagged yellow letters spelling "Frankenstein" vertically and horizontally in fragmented blocks. A green, muscular, nude male figure is illustrated across the cover in a twisted pose, with body parts segmented by the letters. A red Netflix logo with the words “A Netflix Film” appears in the middle of the cover. Text at the top reads “The 1818 Text.” The spine mentions an introduction by Jeanette Winterson. The person holding the book has dark-painted nails, a silver ring, and visible tattoos on their wrist.

the book Frankenstein where the letters are all spread out and there’s an additional N logo for Netflix

with canada post on strike again we can't ship things to PO boxes without a specific house address but the rest of our shipments use UPS so we can still keep the books movin'

We’ll be closed on Tuesday in recognition of the 5th National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. In his new book 52 Ways to Reconcile, David A. Robertson’s second suggestion is to Start an Indigenous Book Club and we’ve shared some suggestions here
