Mightily impressed by Nick Martin’s Barbara Hepworth-inspired Violin Concerto played by Tamsin Waley-Cohen with the Manchester Camerata in its London premiere @kingsplacelondon.bsky.social this evening. I thought it had something of the intensity & spirit of Tavener’s Protecting Veil, in a good way.
