I came off a night shift this morning; we immediately packed our stuff and drove to my mom’s house… 3hrs away… in a snow storm.

Two nights ago I asked my (adult) niece what to get my great-niece for Christmas.
I didn’t hear back the first night, so I asked again yesterday.
Her response: I didn’t respond at first because I wanted to take time to say this nicely, but don’t bother. My daughter doesn’t know who you are.

Figured out that the bank didn’t post EIGHT MONTHS of my credit card scheduled payments. Those payments were specifically for monthly bills like Netflix, etc.

Just got back from the vet. Jäger has a heart murmur. Still early stages because he’s not showing any symptoms.
Hubby and I need to decide if we want to take him for an echo in the city.
Jäger’s 15 years old…
Do we fight this, along with his extensive arthritis… or do we let it run its course?
