yeah! i definitely see why some people would like it. i've only really stuck to one actual play podcast long term (friends at the table) because i feel like it more accurately reflects the feeling i get when i play. i'll keep trying new things though!

it felt less like a ttrpg and more like a production. which is part of the appeal for some people, and good for them — but i'm all good. sad because i like bleem, i'm sure it's just that cr has cultivated such a different audience

tried to listen to critical role on the way home from md (abt 3h:30m drive) and bounced off it hard. i'm spoiled by actual play podcasts that engage with their audience, i feel like there is such a wall between voice actors and their audience by necessity due to their line of work.
