Wyndscal Wanderers:

The first non-hero unit is now completed and based, the Wintertooth Headtakers accompanied by their dire wolves hunt their prey across the bredth of the realms, only returning to the migration once they have claimed its head.

2 Years ago: Cult of Anubis Triarch Phalanx

A pistol and shield breaker style elite from the enigmatic Cult of Anubis necron faction.

Anyone who has this model, is the head a seperate piece to the body?

Looking to turn an Ogroid Myrmidon into a minotaur hero but want this head.

Spurred by a thought on the Mortal Realms discord, would love this to be turned into a full faction as violent nature pushes back against civilization.

Cant source the monkey atm but to my mind the non-tree hand can take a gitmob bow and the backstraps the quiver.

Wyndscal Wanderers Hunter

The last hero (for now) for the Wyndscal comes from the underworlds team with minor conversion to becoming the foot combat hero

Whilst a largely benign presence the crones are among immortals who make their lives within the realms. Trading on their future sight with those so desperate to make the bargain, Sight for Sight. To know ones future requires the "donation" of an eye of the bearer, locked away in Scriers Citadel.

Introducing the narrative lead of the Wyndscal Wanderers, my AOS Norse project.

Lamentia, Crone of Shyish.
Second of the Triumvirate
Mother of the Sight
Herald of Everwinter.
The Eternal Lament

(She herself has no eyes, is wielding one of her gargants instead)

Since hes working with my AoS norse, the mega gargant gets a classic chaos top knot, and a newly sculpted neck to use that head on the brodd upper body to get his sleek fur coat to match the old world marauders

Wyndscal Wanderers - Narrative Leader

Currently WIP with the norse marauder in the place where the crone will be sat. The one eyes Mega-Gargants wielding an immense dowsing rod housing her viewing platform to guide the path of Everwinter.

Coalesced the idea for the narrative lead to my AOS Norse, will be combining the godspeaker with the mega gargant kit to have her held in an outstretched hand wielding the gargants severed eyeball to keep it in thrall.

Just realised the perfect combo. Crone holding gargant eye, mega gargsnt thrall using the brodd eyepatch head (pic from gw store)

Its been so long waiting for this lady to come up on ebay as shes only in the spearhead darkoath.

Finally got her ordered!

She will become one of the three narrative heads of the Wyndscal Wanderers, the Crones of Everwinter.

Cant find the corresponding article but the classic chaos made to order is coming, the bottom left hero in skincoat would make an amazing Helsmith hero

The 3 sizes of Wintertooth Chariots:

Snowcutter (single man light chariots)
Ice Piercer (two man heavy armoured chariots)
Warshrine (slower, bigger, warrior priest)

Wyndscal Wanderers

Everwinter Warshrine is nearly assembled. I have a few little trinkets left to add on but otherwise really happy with how the battlepriest and warshrine have come together

Spent some time making the Wintertooth totem for tomorrow's warshrine.

The tribes have pinned a gargant tongue into the bestial skull so that when the winds of Everwinter blow through it they can interpret the voice of the storm (and offerings are hung on the side) #warhammercommunity #ageofsigmar

Refined the battletraits and first hero.

Traits are borrowed in part from the Helsmiths, which in turn were similar to my Suneater Ogors of past years.

January 4, 2026 at 7:18 PM
Continuing to refine the warscrolls/battle traits:

Units will be able to spread the Everwinter to turn terrain into Blizzard covered terrain

For each Blizzard marked terrain one enemy unit may be marked as Frostbitten for a turn, conferring bonuses to some units against them
