I have 317 unread books on my amazon (yes I know, sorry) account. Too Much Choice. Help me whittle it down?

Our cat helping me take down the tree. It is the guiltiest I have ever caught her looking on camera. And she still looks angelic!

Much prettier than mine! But I'm junk journalling this year just to make myself do it.

2026. I'm going to journal, use up craft supplies and hopefully emerge from this year healthier and less cluttered in house and mind.

This fits with my resolution not to post on the village Facebook page this year because it always ends with people winding me up 🤣

I'm trying to find out if this couple is still around in the uk.
Their father's album of their wedding photos ended up at my local flea market after being bought as part of an estate sale.
While I'm sure they have their own copies I'm wondering if they want them back!

Pepper checked all the gifts before they were presented.

It's Christmas Eve! The tree is ready to decorate with the twins when they arrive, and the fridge is bulging with food. And for my last advent calendar collage it's a frilly layered tree, decked in sand gold tinsel and star, next to a bright promenade lamp beside the still quiet night time sea.

I found little Alex. Thanks @taskmaster.tv for designing such a fun advent calendar, even if some days did defeat my menopause addled brain.

This fur baby is so loving, she is a constant joy to be around.

Penultimate advent collage and it is a heron atop a grassy bank, looking wistfully out to sea. Maybe it is looking out for the arrival of gifts? Or just hoping for a fish supper!

Weathering on a rose hip.
The bubbles from the dishes soap.
The pretty wrapping paper on a gift.

Two more advent collages.
A red mittened hand holds an ice cream cone laden with 3 colourful scoops and a flake. Behind them the sea surges up the beach as if it wanted a taste.

A sea otter looks disgruntled at being snapped by the paparazzi as it swims through orange and green seaweed.

Today's advent collage is of a sturdy orange crab amongst the kelp. Facing away from us he stares at a shoal of orange and yellow fish who swim before a midnight blue coral stabbed sea.

Advent collage day 18. A pair of walkers rest on a headland bench by the sea, watching a flock of birds swirl in the air in front of them. Their clothes are a coordinating palette of orange and yellow.

Today's advent collage shows three birds, probably gulls, flying with wings fully stretched against a startingly orange and yellow sky. The sky is reflected below in the grey waters of a sea at dusk.

Two more advent collages with a colour theme.
Against a stormy grey sky, two orange and yellow sailboats cut through the choppy waves.

On a dusky beach, a woman clad in orange walks a dog almost the same colour as her coat, her green scarf blowing backwards in the brisk sea wind.

I adore this image. Someone else shared it on here. Can't now remember who.

Another double episode of advent collages, thanks to menopause.
An assortment of seastars, mussels, cockles and razorshells are scattered on a beach next to a golden sand flecked wave.

And a Snowman, or is it a sandman, stands resplendent on a beach in matching woolly navy and white hat and scarf.
