i feel that when people feel intimidated or "threatened" by people not like themselves but still are popular among others, they spend a lot of time on this issue...

it's pure luck how capable and in what family one is born. with meritocracy, there's a very high chance that life is determined from the very first day. and that isn't just for less fortunate people.
