I’m international adoptee and became naturalized. Trump signed the executive order that attacks birthright citizenship which includes naturalization. I’m sad and mad.

Many difficult parts of being an adoptee are develop abandoment wounds and attract toward avoidant attachment types. Experiencing symptoms of Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria also makes it harder.

I highly recommend Nicole Chung (@nicolechung.bsky.social) book, "All You Can Ever Know" to critically think about the narration related to adoption and understand the identity of a transracial adoptee. I love that she deconstructs the theological aspect of narration about adoption.
