(It was at Gladiator 2… I asked the man next to me to swap seats while the scary man stormed out. I was smart to do that — he was looking for me when he came back and I wasn’t where I had been on the aisle. I also had put on glasses and a hat. Spent the whole movie making an exit strategy.)

I saw The Beach Boys in concert the week Brian Wilson died. His impact on artists from so many genres is literally legendary. Watching this Elton John tribute to him is instant tears.
