Oh for sure. In one film, his character's introduction is literally his head appearing like a cartoon character at the start of a short.

So much of what he did was pantomime, which you later saw with performers like Rowan Atkinson.

I did a semester studying JL. It's weird that I was doing that in a school with no film studies dept. It was all pass/fail communications workshops at Kent State. But I got a lot of media analysis in.

I've been livid with ads or fake videos using AI Oprah, Steve Harvey, Morgan Freeman, or just making it look like any Black person is saying something. The one of Rev Dr MLK Jr endorsing DJT was the line, but all these people willing to use successful Black people's voice & image to sell & scam!

All in all, it's a decent entry & it manages to place itself in the contemporary while having some aspects to the story that are timeless (by design).
It mostly feels like a sequel, instead of its own story, which is unfortunate. It lacks the re-watch value of the other films, sadly.

The first film had Captain America, the second one had Drax & Agatha, and this one has Hawkeye.
The setting is upstate NY, but it feels like it was meant to be England at first.
Upstate NY is the same setting as Sleepy Hollow & this feels organic enough to that setting after a while.

The poster makes zero sense, as the story involves a crypt, not a grave.
Anyway, I think this would have made a better Jonathan Creek special than a Knives Out movie, but they don't make Jonathan Creek anymore, and they do make Knives Out.
Johnson keeps casting actors also in MCU films.

The stylistic elements from Rian Johnson are there that make it feel like a Knives Out film, and the leads pull their weight beautifully.
There's a good backstory & a predictable denouement (a real Chekhov's gun kind of reveal by the end).
I feel like the writing wasn't as sharp as previous entries.

I could have done without Mila Kunis or Jeremy Renner, as their casting brings nothing to the roles & they really aren't very compelling in their parts.
Most of the cast does a decent job, especially Thomas Haden Church, who doesn't seem to act as much these days, despite being talented.
