Dont forget, most of the party went all-in on the genocide in Palestine to support a geriatric dotard and a right-wing candidate who was worse than Hillary. The political ramifications of all that horror and failure should(!) destroy the party.

Like. What's the point of lamenting the Democrats failures if we won't change our behavior towards them? Stop voting for Dems. Encourage people to organize outside the DNC. Treat them as an evil obstructionist party like we do the GOP.

Sure, Bernie and AOC and progressive Dems are a good on-ramp for a lot of people, but they are a dead end for substantive change and to work towards that you have to go out and find an org that's actually committed to progress

It's frustrating to see someone who's ostensibly a "socialist" with a huge platform defend Dems like he does. Sure, maybe AOC is my closest political ally in Congress, in the same way Portugal is the closest European country. Both are an ocean away from me.

The Democratic Party is as much an enemy of the working class as the GOP. They will not reform and they will not move left; worse even, they will neuter popular left-wing movements (like they did with BLM) before they can become a credible threat to their power. They are a dead end.
