I really liked NPCs. It definitely gets better over the course of the series. I love Forging Hephaestus, but it's very very long. And he also tends to do this thing where he both shows and tells? Sometimes it can feel a bit repetitive, but I love the characters too much to care.

That's the only series of his that I haven't read. I'm not sure that I'm as interested in a series told from the perspective of h.s. kids, although I suspect I'd like it. His Fred, Vampire Accountant, series is cute and I don't think they're quite as long.

The third cat…does not have that kind of relationship with the other two. I would be shocked if they shared with him.

We live in Vancouver! Is not even close to the coldest weather they’ve experienced. It’s v confusing but also adorable.

Oh no...I have, very unexpectedly, now also found myself in a bean bag chair now? (There are some in a common room in my building.)

Yeah, I think it requires basically rolling onto your knees and getting up from there. (I love that we're helping you strategize your bean-bag exit plan.)

I 100% require assistance getting out of one at this point. (I'm not that old!)

I feel like, past a certain age, one just cannot really make bean bag chairs work. The age may vary, but I am definitely past that age.
