What we are seeing from theUkraine conflict is that the days of big machines being the sole deciding factor in conflict is ending. Spend our money for the 21st century, not the mid 20th. and don't waste it on American stuff.

There was a scramble around moscow a few days ago with LOTS of aircraft departing - maybe he did :)

We never could. The treaties only said they would consult in the event of any attacks on us . That was pointed out to me in 1971.
Along with the advice that America, and the UK would always act in what they thought of as their best interests.
